Grupo Integração announces entry into Sapiens Agro in a media-for-equity deal

Grupo Integração, Globo's affiliate in Minas Gerais, announced its entry into Sapiens Agro as the first portfolio company of its newly created investment arm, Integração Ventures.

The deal follows a media-for-equity model: instead of a direct cash investment, the group provides media, content, data and communication strategy in exchange for equity. Sapiens Agro, an agtech from Uberlândia specialized in market intelligence for agribusiness, was valued at R$ 40 million.

According to Integração Ventures, the partnership goes beyond media placement: the goal is to turn reach, credibility and communication intelligence into measurable growth for Sapiens.
